Brian's athletic journey began early, growing up in a competitive household with his younger brother he explored a wide variety of sports before ultimately focusing on competitive swimming.
After high school, Brian attended West Point and pursued a career in the Army. As an Infantry Officer, his athletic background gave him a significant edge, helping him excel at Ranger School, the Army’s premier leadership development program.
The mental and physical toughness he developed during this time pushed his limits which now drives him to inspire others through coaching.
Brian followed a traditional gym routine until discovering CrossFit while deployed to Afghanistan in 2014. Humbled after his first class, he realized there was much to learn, which sparked his passion for competing and, eventually, sharing his knowledge and inspiration with others.
Since starting his coaching career in 2019, Brian has accumulated over 5,000 hours of coaching experience, mentored new coaches, overseen gym operations, and enhanced the gym environment for athletes of all ages—from kids to seasoned competitors.
